This solicitation is prepared for a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. This RFQ is issued as 100% small business set aside. The assigned NAICS is 335311 and the applicable size standard is 750 employees. The Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region requires a custom transformer, 3 phase, 115/.480-kV 2500 kVA rated ONAN, including mineral oil, complete in accordance with the Attachment A Specifications (including transportation, offloading, five-year warranty); One Lot of tools, appliances, and spare parts; Erecting Engineering Services (including assembly and travel); and Drawings/Data.
