THIS RFQ is 100% Reserved for Small Businesses. WAPA SNR has the need for Winter Survival training every three years for craft employees that work in remote areas exposed to winter hazards. The contractor will provide two winter survival classes in Mount Shasta, California in February 2020. Training shall include classroom and field sessions, utilizing demonstration and hands-on teaching. Vendor shall provide thorough knowledge of winter survival skills. For example, winter survival training shall include person in a cold environment, travel, survival kits, avalanche recognition, tools, and rescue procedures. Training shall be relevant to situations in winter survival and snow cat operations encountered by Lineman and Technicians in Northern California. The terrain includes mountains, remote, limited access right-of-ways, and river crossings. The contract will be awarded on or about January 24, 2020. This procurement shall be in accordance with FAR 13.5
