The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), has a requirement for Replacement Capacitors for WAPA’s Sterling Substation. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures is being utilized for this requirement. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price, contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Brush, Colorado. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a competitive, small business set aside. The NAICS code is 335999; the applicable size standard is 600 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about October 28, 2024, on www.SAM.gov and www.fedconnect.net, at which time all information and attachments regarding the RFQ will be posted. Contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quote in order to be considered for award. Unique ID number is required for SAM registration. NOTE: Quotes shall be due by 2:00 p.m. MT, November 4, 2024. Quotes shall be submitted via email to Kevin P.
