The Western Area Power Administration (Western) has a requirement for a contractor to perform Oil Testing and Analysis Services for high-voltage transformers and circuit breakers. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price, Performance-Based Service, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, to include a one-year base period and four 1-year option periods. The services will be performed at the Contractor's facility. The services include, but are not limited to, providing sample/testing kits, performing various tests of oil samples in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials, and reporting. The solicitation is issued as a competitive, unrestricted, Full and Open requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 541380. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about August 13, 2021 at which time all information and attachments regarding the RFQ will be posted. Contractor shall have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quote to be considered for award. DUNS number is required for SAM registration. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Carol L. Hammans (hammans@wapa.gov), NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
