NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall submitted through FedConnect in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes removing, relocating and rebuilding approximately 2-miles of 115-kV transmission line from existing structure 14/6 to new structure 16/1 on the Airport-Boyd 115-kV transmission line with 795-kcmil, ACSR, 26/7 “DRAKE” Conductor, and one (1) 0.465-inch, 48-fiber optical ground wire (OPGW). OPGW will be strung into Airport Substation. The location of the project is Larimer County, CO and the estimated completion date is 250 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $39.5M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 16 July 2021 at the following sites: https://www.fedconnect.net and https://www.fbo.gov/ NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
