NOTE: All responses to this IFB shall be submitted via FedConnect in accordance with the instructions provided in the solicitation. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region has a requirement for a contractor to provide all the labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete this project. The work includes the removal of 1.2-miles of 115-kV wood pole shoo-fly transmission line, removing and replacing five (5) steel monopole structures, rebuilding 1.2-miles of 115-kV transmission line from structures 29/2 to 30/1, and providing motion control devices on 19.6-miles of transmission line between Pole Creek Tap and Round Top Tap. The project is located in Laramie County, WY with a period of performance of 220 days after Notice To Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $39.5M. The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically at this site on or about 12 June 2021 at the following sites: https://www.fedconnect.net and https://www.fbo.gov/ NOTE: the Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic material.
