The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $39.5 Mil. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Place of performance will be Pima County, Arizona. The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region requires a contractor to removing 1,192-feet of single-circuit 115-kV transmission line and constructing 705-feet of double-circuit 230-kV transmission line and 487-feet of single-circuit 115-kV transmission line for the DMP-area Structure Placement project in accordance with the Construction Contract (Standard Form 1442); the Contract Clauses; WAPA’s Construction Standards; Standard Drawings; and the Project Specifications and Drawings. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge.
