This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220 with a size standard of $16.5 Mil. This acquisition will be handled as an RFQ prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 13 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Place of performance will be the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region, Phoenix, Arizona. The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region requires that the contractor shall completely remove the existing Tower Tech, Fiber-glass cooling tower, Model TTXE-021930, Serial Number, 2005-023-03. This includes, but is not limited to, any necessary disconnections from water supply, electrical supply, and any other servicing utilities, and replace with Evapco, or suitable like Cooling Tower. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge. No CD-ROMS or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Interested parties can download the solicitation at http://www.beta.sam.gov on or about May 14, 2021.
