This solicitation has been reissued and the requirement to price freight and unloading upfront has been removed. The revised closing date is April 22, 2020, Local Time. Qupotes will be accepted by email of by carrier. Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) has a requirement for providing various 15kV through 245kV, Moderate to High Seismic Disconnect Switches. WAPA intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of this solicitation with a base year and four one year options. Project location is throughout WAPA. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The assigned NAICS is 335313 with a size standard of 1250 employees. This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated and only new equipment will be accepted. The solicitation will be available at beta.sam.gov on or about February 14, 2020. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
