The Department of Energy (DOE)/Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Headquarters (HQ) has a brand name requirement to purchase a total of six (6) Skydio 2+ Drones with the Enterprise Kit in accordance with the attached Item List. The Government intends to acquire these Skydio Drones using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business per FAR 19; subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services with a Size Standard of $30 million/year. It is anticipated this action will result in a firm fixed-price contract. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose quote is determined to be the lowest priced technically acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. It is highly recommended that, prior to submitting a quote, interested parties obtain a Unique Entity Identifier (UEID) number and register in System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, as these requirements are mandatory for any firm selected for a contract award. Responses will only be accepted via e-mail to Wes Aumiller at aumiller@wapa.gov by 5:00 PM Mountain Time on Thursday, 25 August 2022. With an anticipated award date of 29 August, 2022.
