The Refined Product Reserve was established by the DOE in 2014 to provide an emergency stock of gasoline ready-for-blending-with-ethanol product in the event of a severe supply shortage. Depending on the geographical location and based on EPA and state regulations, the ready-for-blending stock will consist of either CBOB or RBOB. The DOE is soliciting contracts for the storage and distribution of a 1,000,000 barrel gasoline Reserve. Amendment 01 issued to reduce period of performance to four years and provide answers to questions. Amendment 02 issued to correct period of performance dates in Section B, Section C and Section F.
