The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify contractors capable of supplying a high-temperature chamber furnace for processing carbon materials at temperatures up to 2600 °C in accordance with Attachment A specifications. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal, and no contract will be awarded from the notice; the information will support the Government’s RFQ business-type determination. Interested entities should provide a cover page with company/contact/UEI/CAGE/business-size and manufacturing-country information plus a brief Statement of Capabilities describing how they meet the technical requirements. Responses should be submitted electronically through FedConnect or by email in Word or PDF format, limited to 20 pages including the cover page. No cost or pricing information should be provided.
