Extend the response date from, 07/30/2021, 2000 MST to 08/06/2021, 2000 MST. 3. Change the period of performance from 08/18/2021 - 09/30/2021 to 08/23/2021 - 09/30/2021. As a result of the clarifications and changes described below, the Department of Energy is requesting best and final offers. Required Specification: The exterior glove box dimensions must have at least 276.6 cm width x 78.7 cm depth x 116.1 cm height. The preferred glove box can be placed sided by side with an identical glove box. Note: The solicitation is for two (2) stainless steel double filtered glove boxes. This means that for one system there are two glove boxes (double) that are attached with two glove ports in each of the glove boxes (4 glove ports) with one transfer chamber. The quote should reflect two (2) identical systems. The glove box must be able to contain particulate contamination <20 nanograms per cubic meter and meet ISO Class 3 standards. The inlet and outlet ULPA filters must be at least 99.999% efficient on 0.12-micron particulates and be rated for 70 CFM at <1.00” static pressure. The liner material must be stainless steel with at least 2 glove ports. Adjustable height base stands for the glove box must be included in the quote and must be adjustable to at least one (1) inch in height. The viewing area of the glove box must be at least 36 inches wide by 27 inches heigh. The overall exterior dimension of 276.6 cm (width) x 78.7 cm (depth) x 116.1 cm (height) would accommodate two glove boxes with the stated window size with four (4) glove ports that would accommodate two people working side by side. The viewing window should be at least 3/8-inch thick, laminated safety glass. Neoprene gloves of at least 0.015 inches thick, 30 inches long, size 9 ¾ must be provided. The exterior of the glove box should be dry-powder epoxy-coated, with at least 20-gauge steel exterior panels. Fluorescent lights that exceed 100-foot candles should be integral to the glove box. A built-in blower with speed control capable of airflow from 15 CFM to 85 CFM should be provided. The glove box should be factory leak tested with a mass spectrometer while pressurized with helium at 1 inch of water gauge with no detectable leaks greater than 1E-6 mL/sec. Trained test technicians can complete the test per your procedures at the place of manufacture. • FOB Destination - bids must include freight charges to Idaho Falls, Idaho. • Delivery must be no later than September 30, 2021. • Award will be based on a best value (i.e. trade-off of price against item proposed – technical superiority of greater weight than price).
