In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10.002(b)(2)(i) and FAR 12.202(a), the National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Office of Secure Transportation (OST) is conducting market research and requesting information to assess whether commercial items or nondevelopmental items are available to meet the Government’s needs or could be modified to meet the Government’s needs. Accordingly, this Market Research and Request for Information (MR&RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFP/RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ. This MR&RFI also does not commit the NNSA OST to contract for any supply or service. At this time, OST is not seeking proposals. Responders are advised that the OST will not pay any cost incurred in response to this MR&RFI. All costs associated with responding to this MR&RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this MR&RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued at a later date. The information provided in this MR&RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the OST. All Responders who plan to submit a White Paper in response to this MR&RFI are requested to acknowledge this Notice ID 89233120NNA000057 as part of their White Paper submission.
