Special Notice - Notice of Intent The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Economic Impact and Diversity intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price delivery order on a sole-source basis to Carahsoft Technology Corporation (Carahsoft) for Zoom FEDRAMP licenses. DOE ED has a mission requirement for the continuned use of ZOOM FedRAMP licenses to host on-line meetings (audio and video) for multiple small and large (up to 1000) groups comprised of both Agency and outside Stakeholders. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41, U.S.C 3304(a)(1), and implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C), “In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The original order or BPA must not have been previously issued under sole-source or limited-sources procedures.” THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by March 13, 2023 at 10:00am EST, via email to Katharine.Lindner@hq.doe.gov. Please include "Zoom FEDRAMP Licenses" in the subject line of the email if submitting a capability statement. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Telephone or faxed inquiries will not be accepted.
