This is not a solicitation. Vendors shall not submit a quote until, and/or if, the solicitation is posted to the Governmentwide Point-of-Entry via www.SAM.gov. Vendors are not required to submit any response to this pre-solicitation notice. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by Brookhaven Science Associates LLC (BSA) to award a Subcontract. BSA reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner BSA determines is appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a solicitation. I. Background Brookhaven National Laboratory is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York. BSA intends to compete the subject requirement, to be utilized within the United States. This requirement will provide for full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 33422, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing (Size Standard, 1,250 employees), and the applicableFSC is 5895, Miscellaneous Communication Equipment. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quote/proposal. BSA intends to issue a solicitation in support of this requirement by February 2, 2026. BSA expects to make one (1) award. The anticipated award contract type is a firm-fixed price contract. At this time, BSA anticipates award date to be mid-March 2026. II. Description of Need BSA has the following requirement(s): Power distribution and ethernet communications rack.
