The Department of Energy Nanoscale Science Research Centers Recapitalization Project (NSRC-Recap) is installing a new scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) at Molecular Foundry at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBL). To achieve the optimal performance of the STEM, the background electromagnetic fields must be reduced via a noise cancellation system. As provided in RFQ473142, Noise Cancellation System, Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (herein known as “BSA”), operator of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) under a Prime Contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) herewith solicits your quote for the subject requirement as outlined in Enclosure 1, Draft Contract 473142. NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this RFQ is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The stated size standard is 600 employees. The stated size shall be the sole determining factor as to classification (small or large business) of an Offeror.
