The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the responder and will not be charged to BSA for reimbursement. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for the acquisition of twisted pair cables for power distribution in cryogenic temperature of DUNE (Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment) project. Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) seeks sources with the capability and interest to provide the following: Four types of cold power cables will be procured in this order: 1) 2,200 pieces of 2.5 m cables with part number of ASD-223277-08 a) Delivery of the first batch by December 31, 2025 b) Delivery of full order by August 31, 2026, in 4 batches 2) 2,200 pieces of 27 m cables with part number of ASD-223277-11 a) Delivery of the first batch by December 31, 2025 b) Delivery of full order by August 31, 2026, in 4 batches 3) 1,750 pieces of 9 m cables with part number of ASD-223277-09 a) Delivery of the first batch by October 31, 2026 b) Delivery of full order by September 30, 2027, in 5 batches 4) 1,750 pieces of 22 m cables with part number of ASD-223277-10 a) Delivery of the first batch by October 31, 2026 b) Delivery of full order by September 30, 2027, in 5 batches The delivery of cables will start with 2.5 m and 27 m cables first, followed by 9 m and 22 m cables. BSA anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. INSTRUCTIONS: All interested respondents capable of providing the requirements outlined above are invited to respond electronically to Lgonzales@bnl.gov with a brief capabilities statement demonstrating the ability to meet the requirements. Responses shall include company name, address, SAM Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size (large, small business, small disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone) using NAICS 334417, size standard 1,000 employees. BSA reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice.
