Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA), under a Prime Contract for the operation of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), herewith is soliciting proposals to furnish a high-resolution X-ray Microscope (XRM This procurement is solicited as Full and Open Competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; with a business size standard of 1000 employees. This solicitation is for the procurement of a high-resolution X-ray Microscope (XRM) for Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The XRM instrument shall be designed to study solid samples in transmission geometry under conditions of ambient or vacuum pressure. BSA invites you to participate in accordance with the RFP letter and all supporting enclosures. This requirement has been posted on the SAM.gov website under Request for Proposal (RFP) 457675. Background: BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York. BNL intends to compete the subject requirement, to be utilized within the United States. This requirement will provide for full and open competition. BNL intends to issue solicitation RFP-457675 in support of this requirement in January 2025. The anticipated award contract type is a Firm Fixed Price contract.
