The NEXT-II project is a Department of Energy (DOE) Major Item of Equipment(MIE) project to build three world class beamlines at the NSLS-II Synchrotron facility. The three beamlines are Coherent Diffractive Imaging (CDI), ARPES & RIXS Imaging (ARI), and Soft X-ray Nanoprobe (SXN). The project includes undulator sources, experimental beamlines and optics, and appropriate infrastructure. This requirement for the installation of the beamline shielding enclosures (herein referred to as "hutches" or "enclosures"), and related hardware which will be used to protect personnel from synchrotron and bremsstrahlung radiation for the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). BSA invites you to participate in accordance with the RFQ letter and all supporting enclosures. This requirement has been posted on the sam.gov website under Request for Quotation (RFQ) 435797. Any questions concerning this RFP must be addressed via email to the attention of Maile Nichols at mnichols@bnl.gov. The purpose of Amendment 1 to RFQ 435797 is to incorporate the following: (1) provide all offerors with answers to questions received during the Pre-Quote meeting held on 10/23/23 from 9:00 - 12:00 AM ET, (2) Revision 1 to "1. 435797 RFQ Letter," and (3) Revision 1 to "2. Enclosure A - Draft Contract with attachments". Revision 1 to "2. Enclosure A - Draft Contract with attachments" was updated to include revised versions of the (1) DRAFT contract and (2) Attachment 1, Statement of Work. The remainder of the solicitation remains unchanged. The purpose of Amendment 2 to RFQ 435797 is to provide all offerors with the PowerPoint Presentation slides presented at the Pre-Quote meeting held on 10/23/23 from 9:00 - 12:00 AM ET.
