This specification defines the technical requirements for two (2) 591MHz, 200kW RF amplifier systems and two (2) 591MHz, 400kW RF amplifier systems to be used at the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL). The RF amplifier system shall be constructed with solid state devices. Its mode of operation shall be CW and Pulsed. CW is the primary mode of operation. RF amplifier system pulsed operation will be used during cavity conditioning. The operating class shall be AB. The 200kW RF amplifier systems shall be expandable to 400kW by use of a 2-way waveguide combiner. One common controller shall exist for both the 200kW and 400kW RF amplifier systems.
