This is a Request for Quotation for a ONE (1) Base Year Purchase Agreement, with the option to exercise TWO (2) Option Years. The contractor shall provide transportation and disposal services for both special wastes and non-special wastes as defined under Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations, in accordance with Appendix “B” Argonne National Laboratory Statement of Work, dated April 23, 2024, and Appendix “C” Argonne National Laboratory Price Schedule, dated May 22, 2024. Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) is a DOE Research and Development (R & D) laboratory. The R & D activities encompass a number of different scientific disciplines, including physical research, high-energy physics, biomedical and environmental research, energy research and engineering research. The Laboratory ongoing research and associated maintenance and operations activities produce various waste streams are generated as described in Section 3.0, of Appendix B-SOW. These waste streams shall be treated in manners that are compliant with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
