The APS will procure 200 kW circulators ... It should be noted that Argonne National Laboratory will be shut down between December 22, 2023, through January 1, 2024. This RFP uses Best Value Methodology. The APS will procure 200 kW circulators for the Solid State Amplifier upgrade project in the storage ring. The circulators will be used to isolate power from twelve storage ring cavities which are divided into three separate sectors of four cavities each. The twelve solid state amplifier systems each consist of 192 power amplifiers and a final waveguide combiner which will interface with the 200 kW circulator. The circulators will be manufactured, evaluated for conformance, and delivered to ANL. The Laboratory appreciates offers that comply with the provisions of the Buy American Act. Please review all applicable documentation and provide your questions no later than listed in Enclosure 1, and offers no later than 12:00PM CST on January 04, 2024.
