The conversion will involve the redesign and reconstruction of 2 x BT2K5?Alpha?CW and 1 x BT15K?CMB to produce to a single 6kW CW amplifier unit, model number – BT6K?SSPA?6838, compatible with existing Interface and power supply units. Housing infrastructure will be modified to support the BT6K?SSPA?6838. The converted system is a class AB linear RF amplifier with an operating frequency of 56MHz±1MHz and rated for 6kW CW output power. The 6kW system is designed to be housed in two (2) 19” equipment rack configured as follows: One (1) amplifier unit (model no. BT6K?SSPA?6838) One (1) interface unit (model no. BT15K?INT) One (1) PSU interface unit (model no. BT9?INT?PSU) One (1) Magna Power ? TSA50?900/480+LXI The system is designed such that all components operate well below their maximum electrical and thermal limits.
