Reminder that Amendment 02 document must be acknowledged and submitted as part of your company's proposal. ************************************************************************************************* Amendment 01 - Site Visit and Change to Questions Closing Date The Closing Date for Questions for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is CHANGING to Monday, December 22, 2025 at 5:00 pm CST. Fermilab is now conducting a Site Visit scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 1:00 pm CST located at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), Batavia, Illinois 60510. A Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Central Standard Time, December 18, 2025. Participants should meet Ms. Dasia Guthrie at the entrance to the Fermilab Welcome and Access Center (FWAC) before being escorted to the Giese Road Substation Feeder 24 Backfeed project site. The FWAC is accessible from Kirk Road by using the Pine Street entrance to Fermilab. The meeting provides an opportunity to discuss and clarify the RFP. However, nothing said or represented in the meeting shall be deemed to modify RFP requirements unless followed by a written amendment. Offerors are requested to submit questions relative to the RFP in advance of the meeting so the Procurement Specialist may prepare responses. Offerors’ participation at this meeting is strongly recommended. Except those already having a badge, anyone attending the Pre-Proposal Meeting and Site Visit is required to fill out an Access Request form (see link below) As Soon As Possible (ASAP) in advance of the scheduled date. Due to the time constrictions of this Site Visit and the closing date of the RFP, all attendees must be a U.S. Citizen. Onsite access approvals are dependent on citizenship status and the location(s) being visited. Please Note that if you are unable to attend the Site visit, it does not preclude you from submitting a Proposal for this project. Do Not go through the security gate, instead go to the new Welcome Center which is where Ms. Guthrie will meet you. Upon request approval, the individual will receive an informal invitation letter with a QR code, which is required to be presented at the security gate, otherwise, access to Fermilab will be denied. After meeting up with Ms. Guthrie at the Welcome Center, when checking in at the Security Gate House, the individual will be required to present a Valid Driver’s License (Real ID) and the informal invitation letter with the QR code, and the Visitor and Business Visitor Attestation Form. If the Driver’s License is not Real ID compliant, the appropriate REAL ID documents (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/identification) are required. If the Covid 19 Community Level is classified as “High,” masks will be required to be worn. In these cases, KN-95 or N-95 masks are recommended. Unfiltered cloth masks are not permitted to be worn alone but can be worn over a Level 2 medical mask (double mask). Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) is soliciting construction services for Electrical medium voltage work to install overhead feeders and underground duct bank, pull in 15kv power cable approx. 515 ft and to terminate and test per specifications. The Subcontractor shall perform all work as described in the Statement of Work for Giese Road Substation Feeder 24 Backfeed included as Exhibit A and the Drawing Set Giese Road Substation Feeder 24 Backfeed included as Exhibit B. As well as in accordance with the individual Specifications included as Exhibits to this RFP. All work shall include transportation, overhead, bonding costs, insurance, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project described in the scope of work, and the detailed description contained herein. **Please note that ALL work on site must be completed by February 1, 2026.** Please review the requirements of the solicitation.
