Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC (FFDG) has a requirement for the assembly of 12 identical transportation carts (F10217385). Parts must be purchased from parts list and assembled as specified in drawing (print and assemble) provided. Carts shall be assembled at vendor’s facility and delivered all at once to ICB Production Floor, Fermilab ( POC to be provided at award). Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC Strategic Commercial Purchasing located in Batavia, Illinois is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a commercial, single award contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Fermi Forward Discovery Group, LLC intends to use full and open competition to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This is an all-or-non requirement, and partial quotes will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. The government will award on a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirements as stated in the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government based on the criteria listed within this solicitation. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Wednesday 5 February 2025. Such capabilities /qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government.
