Provide for the labor, equipment, materials, and services required to chip seal the existing pavement surface of Route 3 including Route 11A to Route 4S of the Hanford Site located in Richland, Washington. Route 3 provides access and support to key facilities on the Hanford site including the Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF), groundwater, Tank Farms, and site infrastructure operations, and acts as the main commuter road between 200 East and 200 West Areas. In addition, located on Route 3, is a two-way road, consisting of one lane each direction, running south from Route 11A to 20th Street/ERDF Avenue (11A) and continuing eastbound to Route 4S (4S), which is approximately 4.1 miles in length and 28-30 ft. wide. The construction and integration of the chip seal of Route 3 and Route 11A to Route 4S will occur under Project Identification Number L-603.
