As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC has a requirement for a U.S. domestic end item source of the following product: High Voltage Power Supply or monoblock X-Ray Source Qty – 1 Negative polarity, 30 kV dc power supply that continuously (CW) provide 40 kW power (or 1.33 A current) Input should be three phase 208 V ac with about 0.85% power factor Power Supply will be used to bias a thermionic emission electron gun which is specified as 30 kV, 1.3 A, CW. The award will be made based upon the Lowest Price and best lead time acceptable method. Marking of Proprietary/Confidential Information.
