UChicago Argonne, LLC is seeking proposals for Waste Heat Recovery Chillers as part of the proposed 400 Area Waste Heat Recovery System Project. The project is a part of Argonne National Lab’s (ANL) strategy to meet DOE’s goals to improve resiliency, reduce energy intensity and greenhouse gas emissions. The Waste Heat Recovery System will be installed at Argonne National Laboratory, and is targeted to be commissioned by August 2024. In order to meet the project schedule and meet refrigerant requirements for the chillers, ANL is pre-purchasing the chillers. The Statement of Work (SOW) describes the specifications for the chillers and schedule, delivery, and other requirements that the manufacturer will be required to meet.
