The work consists of the furnishing of all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and appurtenances necessary to demolish, remove and dispose of the Coal Handling Plant at Argonne National Laboratory 100 Area. The work includes but not limited to Pre-Construction documentation assembly and submission, asbestos abatement and removal, demolition of conveyers as well as above and below grade structures. Backfill and compaction of remaining subgrade structure is required. The Contractor is responsible for implementing work in compliance with approved Contractor health and safety program, Job Safety Analysis, engineering demolition survey, and Laboratory Integrated Safety Management System.
