Request for Information (For Market Research Purposes Only) Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of small business firms and other than small business firms that have the capability of providing a Construction Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspector to oversee the construction of a 230/60kV substation located in Northern California. Please see the attached Draft version Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a detailed description of the anticipated requirement, specifically Section 2. This is for market research purposes only and we are NOT seeking quotes at this time - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this RFI or any follow-up information requests. Interested parties having the skills and capabilities of performing the requirement are encouraged to provide feedback via email to Jolene Daoud at Daoud@WAPA.GOV by the close date. Phone calls will not be accepted. Please provide your response to the following: Offeror's name, UEI #, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. Offeror's Business Size and type of Small Business (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and/or 8(a)) Offeror's capability to perform all services in the Draft PWS by providing specific project experience. Each project should be summarized in a paragraph, no more than 7 sentences. Company’s QA/QC process for high voltage electrical substation construction. No more than 4 pages. Confirmation that your firm/personnel can meet the requirements listed in PWS Sections 1.11, 2.2.1, 2.2.3, 2.2.4, 2.2.8 through 2.2.12, 2.2.14 through 2.2.16, and 2.2.18.
