The project will require clearing ... This project will establish a new gravel surface equipment storage and laydown yard in a wooded undeveloped area at Jefferson Lab. The size is approximately 4 acres. The project will require clearing and grubbing the existing site of all trees and adding compacted gravel backfill to create the new storage area. The project also includes construction of a new entrance approach, culverts, fencing, lighting and modifications to an existing stormwater retention pond that is near the site. Construction access to the site will be available from the south Canon Boulevard gate. Anticipate construction to start in June of 2024.
