The Department of Energy (DOE) and Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) requires services of a Professional Architect and Engineer (A/E) Subcontractor to provide a Feasibility Study for the renovation of existing underutilized spaces at PPPL’s D Site within buildings D52 and D53. The existing spaces will be reviewed to maximize their use as office space. Options will be developed to identify the maximum utilization with varying degrees of existing systems infrastructure impact. Contractor shall be required to develop (3) options to replan existing spaces to accommodate office use in B52 & B52: a. Option 1 - Maximize office use with least/no impact to existing systems (life safety, restrooms, hvac, etc). b. Option 2 - Maximize office use with intermediate impact to existing systems. c. Option 3 - Maximize office use and capture all necessary upgrades to existing systems.
