Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center RDC) operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to notify all interested and capable firms of a construction services solicitation to complete the D-Site Sanitary Lift Station Repairs at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory located at 100 Stellarator Road, James Forrestal Campus, US Route 1 North, Plainsboro, NJ. PPPL is initiating a project to complete repair/upgrade of one sanitary sewer lift station at PPPL which requires repairs above minor maintenance including the replacement of existing controls, valves, electrical connections, etc. that have outlasted their useful life expectancy. The upgrades/repairs will not change the original design intent. The upgrades/repairs will prevent potential outage of sanitary systems for the C/D Site sewer system. The current plan is to award of a subcontract by May 2022. Completion of construction is planned for Fall of 2022. The estimated magnitude of this project between ($500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00). PPPL contemplates award of a firm fixed-price subcontract. Subcontract award, if any and at PPPL’s sole discretion, will be made to the qualified and responsible Offeror submitting a proposal offering Best Value to PPPL using the low price technically acceptable standard basis for award. The applicable NAICS code is 221320, Sewage Treatment Facilities. The proposed procurement will be set aside for small business firms.
