Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (RDC) located in the vicinity of Princeton, NJ and operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to notify all interested and capable firms of machining services to machine Toroidal Field (TF) conductor assemblies. PPPL is soliciting proposals from qualified suppliers to provide all materials and labor necessary to machine and deliver Toroidal Field (TF) conductor assemblies needed for the National Spherical Torus Experiment Upgrade (NSTX-U) Recovery Project. Specific requirements for these services can be found in the Statement of Work “The Inner TF Conductor Assembly -Machining Services-”; Revision: 0; CAT: A3 (Phase 1), A1 (Phase II); Reference Work Planning No.: N/A; Dated: June 22, 2022. PPPL contemplates award of a firm fixed-price subcontract. Subcontract award, if any and at PPPL’s sole discretion, will be made to the qualified and responsible Offeror submitting a proposal offering Best Value to PPPL using the low price technically acceptable standard basis for award.
