NREL requires procurement of a Hydrogen Dryer System for the Megawatt-Scale Low Temperature Electrolyzer Research Capability project. It is the intent of NREL to award one (1) Purchase Order under this solicitation for a hydrogen dryer system meeting the specifications of the Technical Specifications – Attachment No. 1 titled “Hydrogen Dryer System”, dated 7/21/2025. The objective is to procure a Hydrogen Dryer System made up of multiple dryer units that will reduce the concentration of water in hydrogen, produced by water electrolysis, to below 5ppmv at the new Flatirons hydrogen facility per SAE J2719 and ISO 14687 and meet the flow rate requirements of the technical specification. The dryer units making up the system must be individually operable to meet the wide range of flow required, as well as allowing for parallel operation with multiple process streams.
