The University of California, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is requesting qualifications for Design-build services for the design and construction of the Linear Assets Modernization Project. This is a two-phase, best-value source selection process. Phase I is the Request for Qualifications. The outcome of Phase I will be an identified “short-list” of no more than three respondents. This Phase I is not an offer to enter into a subcontract but merely a solicitation of qualifications from those interested in participating in this solicitation process. Phase II is the Request for Proposal, where the short-listed respondents will be invited to submit competitive proposals. At the conclusion of the Phase II, a stipend of $150,000 will be provided to the unsuccessful offeror(s), in accordance with the requirements set forth in the solicitation documents.
