The 325 MHz SSR2 (Single Spoke Resonator Type 2) cavity is a single spoke Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) resonator that will be used to accelerate the proton beam for the next generation accelerator complex at Fermilab and its development is done in the framework PIP-II project (Proton Improvement Plan II). A total of seven SSR2 cryomodules are planned to be integrated in the PIP-II linac superconducting section and each of cryomodule includes five SSR2 jacketed cavities and three superconducting solenoids. Fermilab is planning to procure a total of 6 prototype jacketed cavities in CY 2020. The contractor shall perform the following activities: Design and fabricate tooling for forming, machining and welding; Produce trial pieces made of copper to verify tooling and fabrication processes; Forming, electron-beam welding (including pre-weld chemical etching) and machining of parts; Verification tests; Manufacture and assemble cavities in compliance with the Fermilab specification and drawings. Compile travelers in the Fermilab Vector database throughout fabrication; Generate a Discrepancy Report (DR) whenever a discrepancy arises; Packing and shipping; Utilize dedicated storage space at contractor’s premises for Fermilab supplied material, for BCs and all sub-components. Generate a Manufacturing and Inspection Plan (MIP) and a Gantt chart to list all the activities to execute the complete manufacturing of all units. Procure materials as needed. Fermilab will provide Niobium sheets and tubes
