ANL is located in DuPage County, 25 miles southwest of Chicago. The campus is located on 1700 acres, and the on-site population is scattered amongst approximately 100 buildings. ANL has approximately 3,400 employees, 268 postdoctoral scholars, 582 graduate and undergraduate students, 256 joint faculty, 7,422 facility users and 1,005 visiting scientists. Detailed information regarding the current Argonne Guest House and Food Service Outlets: Argonne Guest House Six-story, 159-unit structure with one floor of public space and five floors of residential rooms and quads; Ground floor houses registration area, market pantry, conference room, dining/bar area, full-kitchen and supporting office space; Rooms are rented primarily to ANL visitors on a short and long-term basis and to students working on-site for various internship programs. Food Service Outlets and Requirements Argonne Guest House Restaurant and Lounge (first floor of hotel): 132 capacity; Market Store: lobby shop in hotel with fresh to-go food and sundries; Cafeteria/Bistro 213: Cafeteria-style food service with themed food stations. Dining area has tables/and work stations for multiple uses, including 11 collaboration zones for employees and visitors to gather, socialize, eat, work, and collaborate.
