The APS-U Project is developing beamlines that require ten (10) separate high heat load (HHL) slit assemblies. The HHL slit assembly is a high-energy X-ray absorber that defines the beam size going through the beamline. The HHL Slit Assemblies shall be fabricated according to the key technical, material, and quality and acceptance requirements. Recommended fabrication steps are provided to ensure that technical and quality requirements are achieved. QA documentation shall be provided with each HHL Slit Assembly. Delivery is expected within 46 weeks.
