The APS Upgrade Project requires twelve (21) PCB boards for the HHL front end exit tables to be used as second xbpm (XBPM2). Macor material is required to reduce the outgassing effect that may cause higher pressures and cause ion pumps to trip. After the Macor is machined a trace is overlay onto it and routed to correct holes. The final step is to solder fifteen gold plated pins to the board on which a DB15 ribbon connector will be attach to. QA documentation shall be provided with each PCB board.
