This notice is posted to identify potential SMALL BUSINESS MANUFACTURERS that manufacture and supply porcelain insulators for high voltage power transmission lines. Any proposals received in response to this notice will not be considered.Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) performing market research to determine if there are any small business in the United States that MANUFACTURE porcelain deadend and jumper suspensor insulators in accordance with the specifications attached. If you are a small business manufacturer, please provide the following information via email only (no phone calls) to Carol L. Hammans, Contracting Officer, hammans@wapa.gov. Deadline for response is Wednesday, June 15, 2021 at 5 p.m. EDT. (1) Company name, address, and point of contact, including POC’s telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, HUBZone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, etc.) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 327110 (Pottery, Ceramics and Plumbing Fixture Manufacturing) (3) Your company’s DUNS Number (4) Your capability statement, specifically addressing all of the requirements/specifications attached. (5) Normal lead time for delivery of order after receipt of an order.
