Argon Piping Supply, Installation and Testing
This opportunity involves the supply, installation, and testing of a stainless-steel pipeline to transport argon gas for the DUNE experiment at the LBNF. The work requires transporting approximately 40,000 metric tons of argon from the surface to the Central Utility Cavern (CUC) at the 4850 Level. The pipeline system will connect the Ross Shaft Argon Receiving station to the CUC, with specific diameter and schedule requirements for different segments. The performance location is the LBNF site, specifically from the surface receiving facility, down the Ross shaft, to the underground 4850 Level.
