EIC ESR D1-D3 & D2 Dipole Magnets

Brookhaven National Laboratory is seeking expressions of interest from firms capable of producing 542 EIC ESR D1-D3 and 195 EIC ESR D2 dipole magnets for the Electron Ion Collider project. This is a sources sought notice, not a solicitation, intended to survey industry capabilities and capacity. Responses are due by June 29, 2026, and must be submitted electronically to Cindy Blanchard. The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility, with performance location not specified beyond U.S. manufacturing capability being of interest.
