Linac High Power Klystrons for ANL APS Operations Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) Advanced Photon Source (APS) is interested in purchasing quantity of two (2) Canon E3712 klystrons or “equal klystrons.” The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that ‘‘equal’’ products must meet are specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Several important specifications required for the purchase of this klystron are: rf frequency, peak rf output power, rf pulse width, peak rf drive power, efficiency, gain & beam perveance.
