The United States Department of Education (Department) requires a Contractor who can provide a Compliance Auditor to perform an audit to assess the DEPARTMENT compliance with the practices defined within the FPKI Policy Authority’s Federal Bridge Certificate Authority Certificate Policy (CP) and the Symantec Shared Services Provider (SSP) Non-Federal Certificate Practices Statement (CPS). The Department has acquired and implemented the Symantec Non-Federal SSP PKI for its managed PKI solution that participates within the Federal Bridge PKI environment as part of the Department’s PIV-I card implementation. This PKI solution is integrated with the Department’s ID Badging System to allow the ID Office to issue FIPS 201compliant PIV-I certificates at a Medium-HW level to Federal and Contractor employees.
