NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE AWARD See attached JOFOC for more information. Background The Governing Board issued a delivery order in FY 2023 to APTNexus to remediate findings from a security assessment conducted for the website, www.nagb.gov. The prior scope of work for a separate GSA Schedule order was issued to APTNexus based on a low-risk categorization of the website. Since then, the security categorization of the website has changed to a moderate risk categorization which has required addressing additional controls. Further there have been software platform transitions which requires additional work. APTNexus had already commenced work under a prior GSA competed delivery order, and there is a need for the contractor to continue working on new recommendations based on a moderate risk system and urgently address all required changes based on platform changes in order to secure an Authority to Operate (ATO). Justification Based on the aforementioned background and the time sensitivity, the incumbent, APTNexus is the only viable contractor to complete the work, which will also help mitigate additional costs to secure a new contract. This solution also provides the least interruption of highly technical services.
