The Department awarded an out-of-scope modification without considering other awardees under NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO SP3) task order Portfolio of Integrated Value Oriented Technologies-Integrator (PIVOT-I) Services task order HHSN316201200050W/91990018F0014 (Task Order), pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C). The Department seeks to acquire implementation, integration and maintenance services for Zero Trust Architecture capabilities (ZTA) to comply with Executive Order 14028, Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity (May 12, 2021) (EO 14028) and provide secure granular access control into strengthen the Department’s cybersecurity. The ZTA solution includes Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) to provide secure granular access control into cloud services allowing remote users to securely access to Department systems; Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) to provide on-premises users secure access to Department systems; and Security Automation Orchestration & Response (SOAR), to provide automated incident management and response.
