The purpose of Amendment 0004 is to cancel Solicitation Number 9100312R0018 for the Interim Servicing Solution (ISS). ISS was introduced by Federal Student Aid (FSA) in fall 2020 to provide a bridge from the current loan servicing environment to an improved future state. After further consideration and review of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, the subject solicitation is hereby cancelled. The U.S. Department of Education will continue its efforts to modernize the delivery of federal student aid and create a better experience for millions of students and their families.
