DESCRIPTION: Project work consists of maintenance dredging Palm Beach Harbor from the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the southern portion of the Expanded Settling Basin to a required depth of 35 to 39 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth. All material to be placed in the beach disposal area. Material placement in the nearshore to only occur after April 30. Both locations are located immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on October 18, 2022 and bids will be due on November 17, 2022 NAICS Code 237990 Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities, size standard $32.5 million. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Estimated Period of Performance is 100 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The stated time is inclusive of 60 calendar days to commence work. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. The only authorized transmission method for a bid in response to this solicitation is electronically via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. NO OTHER TRANSMISSION METHODS (EMAIL, FACSIMILE, REGULAR MAIL, HAND CARRIED, ETC.) WILL BE ACCEPTED. The offeror’s bid must be received by the Government by the date/time specified in the solicitation.
